Exploring Your Body Story

with Heidi Andersen & Melanie Losacco

We all have a story

Our bodies have been with us our whole lives - for better or worse. What would our bodies say if they could tell their story?

Your body story might go something like this: too big, too messy, too slow, too much. I want this part smaller or this part bigger. In a society that increasingly perpetuates objectification and a hierarchy of bodies, it's easy to understand why that might seem like your body story.

But what if you had a space to start to explore another version of your body story - one that includes the pieces that we aren't taught how to discover, how to own? Let's come together and start in a place to tell our own stories, take back the narrative and name the truth of our bodies - in all the glory, grief, power and complexity.

The truth and healing are in your story.
— Mia Mingus
