Reclaiming Your Original Beauty: A 7 Week Virtual Guided Group Experience Using the Safe and Sound Protocol as a Tool for Transformation
When we feel safe and connected, our True Nature and Original Beauty emerges
Are you seeking the kind of belonging that welcomes all parts of you?
Imagine how it would feel to not have to do or be anything other than yourself to receive connection.
Our Original Beauty refers to the qualities of our true nature that have been a part of who we are from when we were born. These qualities emerge when we move towards deeper embodiment. You can be in your Original Beauty and experience this type of belonging.
Our sensory processing system, trauma history and attachment wounds can create experiences in our body that make it difficult to land in an embodied sense of safety and connection. The Safe and Sound Protocol can support healing in these areas.
The Safe and Sound Protocol is an intervention that:
brings protective parts of ourselves that formed when we didn't get messages of unconditional love forward for healing
dismantles anything in the way of our ability to yield and surrender into an embodied sense of belonging
uses filtered music and frequency to shift our sensory system's orientation from threat/defense to safety/connection
As more safety enters the system, the sensory processing experience, attachment themes and trauma physiology that live in our nervous system and impedes our ability to yield into enoughness and belonging will be brought to the surface for healing.

FAQs
-
The Safe and Sound Protocol is a practical application of the polyvagal theory developed by Dr. Stephen Porges. It is a non-invasive, acoustic vagus nerve stimulator that helps you connect to yourself and the world around you from a foundation of physiological safety.
-
The Safe and Sound Protocol helps you progress in therapy by shifting your fundamental experiences of the world. SSP will bring to the surface the parts of you that get in the way of your ability to land and yield in your zone of optimal arousal. It works to heal these parts by increasing resiliency and deepening embodiment.
-
Healing happens in community. This group is designed where participants are witness and gentle support to each other’s process. It is also more cost effective to experience the SSP in this group container.
-
The group facilitator holds a strong container that allows each participant to yield into receiving their own support rather than feeling the pull to care take others.
-
The SSP offers an opportunity to address trauma via a bottom up process (focusing on bodily sensations and nervous system resiliency), which means you can access healing without needing to relive or retrieve specific memories.
-
Yes! You can learn more about the current research about the effectiveness of the SSP HERE.
-
There are no known long term side effects of the SSP. There is a risk of experiencing some side effects for the first 2-3 weeks including increased agitation and hyperactivity, itching/soreness in ears, periods of nausea/dizziness, hypersensitive hearing, headaches, increased tiredness, and draining/fluid in the ears. These effects happen because the SSP is clearing levels of dissociation. As we become more present to what’s happening in our nervous system, we can learn to respond to its cues effectively. The SSP is a training ground for developing a sense of curiosity to what is arising inside, and increasing our skillful response to this information.
